Schema therapy Zurich: Everything that has been learned can be changed.

Do you find yourself caught in the same patterns again and again? A cycle that feels difficult to break? Schema therapy begins right there. Together we will explore what keeps showing up, so that real change can become possible.
In my psychological counselling practice in Zurich, I support you in recognising inner dynamics, letting go of outdated self-images and developing new, more authentic ways forward.

What is a Schema?

How do I recognise a schema?

Schemas often reveal themselves in thoughts like "I'm not good enough", "Something's wrong with me", or "I'll end up disappointed anyway". They tend to arise before we are fully aware of them, almost automatically. And even when we know, deep down, that these thoughts are not true, they can still feel painfully real in the moment.

What is a schema?

A schema is a pattern of beliefs, emotions and thoughts that usually forms early in life. It acts like an internal filter through which we experience ourselves, others and the world around us.

How I can support you

Many of these reactions are not character flaws, but learned strategies. They are protective mechanisms we developed as children. Schema therapy offers a structured way of working through these automatic and often overwhelming patterns, helping us to understand and make sense of them. Over time, this process can lead to greater clarity and a stronger trust in your own strength.
