Return to your natural flow

At the heart of each session is what feels most important for you in this moment. This might be clarity, a sense of grounding, or an empathetic space to explore. I see counselling as a collaborative process. It is also important to me that you understand what we are doing and why, so that you can take tools and insights with you beyond our sessions. I work with a broad range of methods, balancing structure and clarity with experiential and emotion-focused approaches. The body is an important part of this process. It can become a source of grounding and support as we explore deeper layers.

Areas we can explore together...

Crises and anxiety

Crisis, burnout and anxiety

Sometimes emotions, restlessness, sleep problems or a general sense of anxiety begin to take over. Perhaps you are experiencing a lack of drive, uncertainty, or a feeling of disconnection from things you once enjoyed. My aim is to provide you with guidance and stability, using proven methods to help you regain your footing when anxiety or panic takes hold. I will help you understand your emotions better, so that you can gradually rebuild your strength.

Attachment style

Separations and new beginnings

Do you have high expectations of yourself? Do you often feel exhausted from trying to please everyone? Perhaps you recognise thoughts like "I'm not good enough" or "I get everything wrong". These inner voices often form early and can stay with us for a long time. Together we will explore where these beliefs come from and how you can build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Family stress and guilt

Do you often feel drained and unsure of yourself around your partner or members of your family? Perhaps you find yourself doubting your own perception, or you have been on the receiving end of subtle put-downs and manipulation. Together we will look at what is at work in these dynamics and how you can rebuild clarity, inner calm, and trust in yourself. Read more.

Self-worth and inner strength

Feelings of never being enough

Do you have high expectations of yourself? Do you often feel exhausted from trying to please everyone? Perhaps you recognise thoughts like "I'm not good enough" or "I get everything wrong". These inner voices often form early and can stay with us for a long time. Together we will explore where these beliefs come from and how you can build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

toxic or narcissistic partners

Narcissistic abuse and its effects

Do you often feel like you are walking on eggshells around your partner or your family? Do you find yourself doubting your own perception? Have you been on the receiving end of subtle put-downs, or felt manipulated? If the impact of these experiences is still with you, I will help you gain clarity, find inner calm, and reclaim your strength. Read more.

When relationships cause harm

Neurodiversity shows up differently in family life, in relationships, and in everyday school or working life. When ADHD or autism is part of the picture, finding approaches that work for school, an apprenticeship, a relationship or daily routines can be demanding. I will help you find a way of living with it that suits you, develop new approaches, and make better use of the strengths that are already there.
